The Cottage

September 3-28

This sharp-witted comedy by Sandy Rustin, the playwright behind Clue, tells the tale of a woman who decides to expose her latest affair to both her husband and her lover’s wife. This blend of satire and farce coupled with nostalgic design is perfect for audiences who enjoyed Dial M for Murder, Noises Off, and The Play that Goes Wrong

The Woman in Black
October 8-26

Woman in Black comes to The Rep just in time for the Halloween season. With more than 30 years of global acclaim, this electrifying production follows a lawyer who is haunted by a vengeful spirit who he believes has cursed his family.

Emma

December 3-21

In this beautifully reimagined version of Jane Austen’s classic, audiences can experience a Regency-era ensemble piece brought to life by an all-local St. Louis cast. This winter, audiences will enjoy a fresh, modern twist on Austen’s legacy with Kate Hamill’s adaptation, premiering just in time for Austen’s 250th birthday on December 16.

Primary Trust

February 4–March 1, 2026

Primary Trust will make its Missouri premiere at The Rep this season. Eboni Broth’s 2024 Pulitzer Prize–winning play is a heartfelt celebration of kindness and humanity, following the journey of Kenneth, a lonely 38-year-old man living in a small town in New York.

Gypsy

March 18–April 12, 2026

Widely regarded as the crown jewel of American musicals, Gypsy—created by Arthur Laurents, Jule Styne, and Stephen Sondheim—tells the story of a mother in the early 20th century who will stop at nothing to make her young daughters Vaudeville stars.

In addition to these five mainstage offerings, The Rep will also expand their offerings with the Steve Woolf Studio Series in the Emerson Studio of the Loretto-Hilton Center. The Studio Season opening play, which runs October 22–November 16, will be announced at The Rep’s free Second Annual Backstage Pass event in July.

The second play, Mrs. Krishnan’s Party, celebrates life, death, and rebirth while the closing play, The Enigmatist, tells the story of one man’s life as an illusionist.

The Rep will continue to offer its Learning and Community Engagement (LACE) programs, providing immersive educational experiences, public forums, and hands-on artistic opportunities for all ages.
