The stars showed up and showed out for the return of Nelly’s Black and White Ball. The event made its grand return this past weekend after a seven-year hiatus.
The December 3 gala hosted by Nelly welcome guests from the worlds of sports, business, and entertainment such as Ashanti, Jim Edmonds, Big Boss Vette, Joe Edwards, Ron Isley, DMC, Orlando Pace, and many more to the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, all decked out in their best black and white attire. The evening benefitted Make-A-Wish Missouri and a scholarship fund for students to attend Harris-Stowe State University.

The headliner for the after-party was Wyclef Jean, who was joined by many of the night’s guests for a group jam. Guests were also treated sets from Nelly and Ashanti, Nelly and Jermaine Dupri, Monica, Bow Wow, and others. The event’s first “Black and White Ball Legend Award” was also presented to hall of famer Ozzie Smith by Nelly, who shared how inspirational the athlete has been to him.
