As the genre celebrates 50 years, hip hop continues to soar, uniting fans of all ages and races with its rhythmic beats, rhymes, and sense of style. Tuesday night at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, fans were treated to some of the best hip hop has to offer.
Award-winning, chart-topping artist 50 Cent descended on St. Louis with support from Busta Rhymes and Jeremih for the third night of the North American leg of his Final Lap Global Tour. The tour marks the 20th anniversary of 50 Cent’s nine-time platinum hip-hop album, Get Rich or Die Tryin, and the crowd seemed more than happy to lend their energy to the celebratory mood. All the night’s artists were well-received, and the party atmosphere sustained throughout all three sets.
