Jordan Davis brings his “Damn Good Time” Tour to The Factory this weekend

The Louisiana native has cemented his place on the country music map with multi-week No. 1 singles such as “Buy Dirt,” “Next Thing You Know,” and “What My World Spins Around.”

There are a slew of reasons Jordan Davis is psyched to play The Factory on Saturday night, but one of those reasons has nothing to do with music.

“I sleep a lot better on the bus than I do at my house,” says the multi-platinum, CMA Award-winning entertainer, who also happens to be the father of three under the age of 5. “At home, it’s all about getting one to school, the other one to somewhere where he doesn’t wreck the house, and one through bath time, then get them all in bed. And then, we take a breath.”

And then, it’s time to get back on the road as part of his arena headlining Damn Good Time Tour. “I have three shows this weekend, and I get to play songs that I love with my friends in amazing venues,” says Davis. “I know how blessed I am to get to do this.”

And while Davis might know how blessed he is, he might not know how damn good he is. The Louisiana native has cemented his place on the country music map with multi-week No. 1 singles such as “Buy Dirt,” “Next Thing You Know,” and “What My World Spins Around. Now, Davis is looking to add to that winning streak with his single “Tucson Too Late,” which was loosely inspired by the Keith Whitley hit, “Miami, My Amy.”

“[‘Tucson Too Late’] is a song where I’m the narrator and I kind of remove myself from the story and truly just tell the story of somebody else,” says Davis, who will also head out on the road as an opener on Luke Combs’ stadium tour in 2024. “I thought it was kind of time for me as an artist to give my fans something different.”

He lets out a hearty laugh, and then Davis continues.

“With every year that passes and every success that we do have, I have firsthand knowledge of the hard work that goes into it,” he concludes. “That’s not just me. There’s a lot of people behind the scenes that help make this thing go.”

Jordan Davis will play at The Factory September 30. Doors at 6:30, show at 7:30. For tickets and more information, visit thefactorystl.com.
