The Fox Theatre still has a few more shows before its 2024-2025 season takes its final bows, but folks in charge of the historic stage are already looking toward the future.
This evening, vice president of sales and marketing Cindy Vargo and vice president of programming and marketing John O’Brien announced an impressive lineup for the 2025-2026 season, including eight Broadway Subscription productions and six Broadway Extras.

Collectively, the upcoming season’s shows represent 122 Tony Award nominations and 52 Tony wins, including seven Tony Awards for Best Play or Best Musical. Five will be making their Fox Theatre debuts.
Eight- and seven-show season ticket packages will be available for the 2025-2026 Broadway Season. The eight-show package includes The Phantom of the Opera. New season ticket packages go on sale May 28. According to the Fox, current Broadway season ticket holders will receive renewal information in the coming days. On sale dates for individual shows will be announced at a later date. For now, here’s a quick rundown of what the season has to offer.

BROADWAY SEASON
LIFE OF PI | October 7-19, 2025
Based on the novel by Yann Martel, LIfe of Pi is a Tony- and Olivier Award–winning play featuring exciting visuals and impressive puppetry. “We don’t do plays here often,” says O’Brien, “so if we do it here, you know it’s going to be something big, something epic, and something fun.”
THE NOTEBOOK | November 4-16, 2025
Fans of Nicholas Spark’s heartbreaking novel and its movie adaptation featuring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams will find a lot to love in the latest iteration of The Notebook. This new musical follows Allie and Noah’s epic love story with the help of songs from multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson.
THE WIZ | November 25 – December 7, 2025
Bright costumes, stunning choreography, and beloved songs will hit the Fox stage as The Wiz returns to St. Louis. “This revival, fresh off Broadway, is incredible,” O’Brien says. “New direction, new design, new choreography…it’s wonderful.”
THE OUTSIDERS I January 7-18, 2026
The 2024 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical is making its St. Louis debut to kick off 2026 at the Fox. Based on S.E. Hinton’s beloved tale of teens from the wrong side of the tracks, the musical features a book by Adam Rapp with Justin Levine and music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival.
HELL’S KITCHEN | January 27 – February 8, 2026
Alicia Keys fans, get ready. The 17-time Grammy winner’s newest project, Hell’s Kitchen, is headed to St. Louis. Featuring a brand-new song alongside hits such as “Girl on Fire,” “No One,” and “Empire State of Mind,” the musical follows17-year-old Ali as she tries to find her place in the world.
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA | February 18 – March 1, 2026
One of the most popular musicals of all time is headed back to the Fox in 2026. This production of The Phantom of the Opera will feature Maria Björnson’s original design with direction based on Harold Prince’s. “The ‘Masquerade’ staircase is back,” says Vargo. “We get the chandelier that falls.” A familiar favorite, Phantom is sure to satisfy longtime fans.
HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD | March 28 – April 18, 2026
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child continues the story of the Wizarding World with the next generation of young witches and wizards. A winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Play, Cursed Child is full of all the magic and illusions audiences would expect from a trip to Hogwarts.
SPAMALOT | May 5-17, 2026
Spamalot, the musical adaptation of beloved Monty Python film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, first hit stages 20 years ago. Now, it returns to St. Louis to close out the 2025-2026 Broadway Subscription season. “I’m really excited that this is in our series again, because I clearly remember our season ticket-holders loving this show and laughing so much [last time it came to St. Louis],” Vargo says.

BROADWAY EXTRAS
In addition to the Broadway Subscription series, the Fox will offer six more shows for shorter runs. “It’s pretty exciting [to have these shows back,]” Vargo says. “I just remember when Beetlejuice and MJ were leaving St. Louis, the word was just getting out…to make it available knowing that people didn’t get enough of it and will get a chance to see those again, I’m just thrilled.” The following shows will return over the course of the 2025-2025 Broadway season:
