Webster Groves Community Days | July 1-4
On July 2, Webster Groves begins its Fourth of July celebrations with a Children’s Pet Parade at the Recreation Complex from 5–6:30 p.m.; pets of all kinds (accompanied by humans under age 15) can compete. On July 4 at 10 a.m., the Community Days Parade will start at Lockwood and Mason, and it will end at Memorial Park. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. at Memorial Field. The Webster Groves Lions Club will also host a carnival and barbecue at Eden Seminary from July 1–4. 475 E. Lockwood. Memorial Park, 33 E. Glendale.

City of O’Fallon Heritage and Freedom Fest | July 1–4
A Fourth of July extravaganza awaits in O’Fallon, Missouri, beginning July 1 with the Carnival Kickoff. All-you-can-ride wristbands will be available for purchase. There’s chainsaw carving and lots of rock and country music acts. For fireworks, visit on July 3 and 4. Saturday’s got all the hits: the parade, fireworks, and legendary rockers Kansas. Celebrate St. Louis | July 3-4
Enjoy family fun, celebrate 250 years of America, and salute the troops, framed by the iconic Gateway Arch. Music headliners include Zedd, Ludacris, and Big Wild on Friday and Stephen Marley, Kenny Loggins, and Miranda Lambert on Saturday. Drone shows both nights at 9:40 p.m. with fireworks to follow. Eureka Independence Day Celebration | July 4
Enjoy live music from local band Steven Woolley and the Groove and fare from local vendors. A pyro-technical fireworks display, set to music, launches from Drewel Park at 9:30 p.m. Guests can pack blankets, chairs, and coolers, though be sure to leave glass bottles at home. Parking for the event is available in the new lot behind the Central Avenue Spur. Central Avenue Spur, 394 S. Central, Eureka.
Kirkwood Freedom Festival & Fireworks | July 4
This annual celebration at Kirkwood Park is filled with music, food, and fireworks. Guests can order from food trucks starting at 5 p.m., with live music kicking off at 7 p.m. Fireworks will commence around 9:20 p.m., depending on when the sun sets. When traveling, keep in mind vehicular traffic will be cut off at West Adams in order to maintain pedestrian safety. Kirkwood Park, 111 S. Geyer.
Ferguson Fourth of July Celebration | July 4
Ferguson’s celebration is scaled back this year, but the annual parade is still taking place at 10 a.m. from the Ferguson Fire Department. This year’s theme is Parading Through the Holidays, so floats will celebrate the whole calendar’s high points, no matter how summery the weather. 200 S. Florissant Road.
Saint Charles Riverfest | July 3-4
Kick back at this two-day celebration in St. Charles’ Frontier Park. The festival includes carnival rides, food and drinks, kids’ stuff, a full lineup of live music, and, of course, a parade at 10 a.m. and fireworks at 9:20 p.m., both on Saturday. New this year, check out a drone show Friday at 9:20 p.m. And at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the city opens a 50-year-old time capsule. Admission is free. Frontier Park, 500 S. Riverside, St. Charles.
Star-Spangled Nights | July 3-4
Ride the roller coasters at Six Flags during the amusement park’s Independence Day celebration. Decorated in red, white, and blue, the park offers a fun way to celebrate the holiday weekend. Fireworks begin at 9:05 p.m., after DJ Sound Forge STL’s set. One-day tickets start at $40. Six Flags, 4900 Six Flags Road, Eureka.
Have A Blast Bash | July 3-4
Head to Westport Plaza on Friday and Saturday for patriotic fun for everyone. The party starts Friday at 6 p.m. with music from DJ Peezy and Fatpocket. On Saturday, come by at 4 p.m. for the Charles Glenn Trio. The evening continues with a pie-eating contest at 6:30 p.m. and performances by DJ Brian Lewin and Playadors. Both nights, catch fireworks and the national anthem by The Charles Glenn Group at 9:30 p.m. Westport Plaza, 111 Westport Plaza Drive.
Wentzville Fourth of July Celebration | July 4
Wentzville’s annual Fourth of July Parade steps off from the Wentzville Ice Arena at 10 a.m. and travels south on Luetkenhaus Boulevard. The parade includes floats designed by area residents competing for overall first, second, and third place, plus the Mayor’s Choice and Best-Themed Entry. Wentzville residents swim free at Progress Park from noon to 5 p.m., and fireworks at Rotary Park close out the festivities starting at 9:30 p.m.
