Cocktails and nail polish are two of my favorite things. Put them together, and that’s one intoxicating combination. Recently introduced to The Lacquer Cabinet by Nailtini, a monthly nail polish subscription service, I immediately fell in love with its unique concept. Based on the notion of mixing cocktails, The Lacquer Cabinet monthly package includes three nail polishes of varying colors, one empty bottle for mixing, and, in the case of my last Lacquer Cabinet box, two jars of Lit glitter for an extra kick.

I have to admit, I’ve never mixed nail polish before and it was slightly intimidating to mix the perfect shades of silver. But with a couple high pours of mixing the lighter tone polish, Silver Sipper, with the darker Lunar Eclipse, it wasn’t long before I couldn’t put the bottle down. I ended up settling on a medium silver tone and used a healthy amount of the darker Superfly Glitter to top it off. I set the polish and glitter with the Vodka Top Coat and voila! I had my first Lacquer Cabinet experience. So much fun and super affordable ($25/month), The Lacquer Cabinet is my new favorite way to keep up my nail game and create my own cache of custom colors.
