JANE Dispensary – now open in the Delmar Loop

What to expect at the new dispensary

Cannabis dispensaries have started sprouting up across the St. Louis region, after the state issued licenses for retail sales of medical marijuana. As more boutiques open, some St. Louisans have questions about how to shop at dispensaries. JANE Dispensary’s Felicia Delope recently shared what to expect from St. Louis’ newest medical marijuana dispensary, opening in the Delmar Loop.

How will JANE Dispensary introduce St. Louisans to its new location in the Delmar Loop? Everyone is invited to our grand opening event on June 11. We will be having a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. and specials throughout the day. We will have something for everyone; even if you don’t have a medical marijuana card, we have JANE apparel and CBD products for purchase.

If someone is visiting a dispensary for the first time, what should they know? Visiting a new dispensary should be an exciting, pleasant experience. Expect to be greeted by a receptionist who will ask for certain items such as a valid government-issued ID and a Missouri medical marijuana patient ID to verify both the age and status of the patient. Budtenders, or JANE consultants, can guide new and existing patients through the many different products available. They will ensure your experience is far from overwhelming, helpful, and fun. We spend quality one-on-one time to take care of each patient and ensure they walk away feeling empowered and excited. If you’re curious about the menu options, visit janedispenary.com to browse before coming to the retail location. If you make an online order, we will still go over the order with you before leaving the store to ensure the products are exactly what you want.

How do people who are eligible for a Missouri medical marijuana card obtain a card? And if they’re unsure whether or not they qualify, how can they find out? JANE Dispensary has made it easy to get a medical marijuana card. Visit jane.nuggmd.com to reach out to a medical professional. No appointment is necessary, and it’s under $100. You fill out a medical form online—all of your info is stored in a HIPPA-compliant database—enter payment information, chat with the doctor, and then submit your information to the state. You are only charged once approved. If you’re unsure of whether you qualify, we have a list of conditions that possibly qualify.

JANE Dispensary aspires to destigmatize cannabis usage. Why is this important? We feel it’s important to destigmatize cannabis because it is a powerful healing plant, and the negative connotations associated with it takes away from its potential to help people. If we can educate more people to accept the vast capacity of the plant, then we can support a multitude of ailments. We are dedicated to making sure patients get the product that is right for them.
