In creating the charts on the following pages, SLM strove to be as inclusive as possible, inviting more than 200 schools in St. Louis city; Jefferson, St. Charles, and St. Louis counties; and Madison, St. Clair, and Monroe counties in Illinois to respond to a statistical survey. Excluded schools likely did not respond to multiple email and phone invitations, or preferred not to participate. In some cases, data came from public school districts rather than individual schools.

2) These charts should be considered starting points for family research and not last words of any kind.
3) By marking “NA,” the school is stating that the category is “not applicable”; “DND” means “does not disclose.”
4) In the “Average Standardized Test Percentile” column, “ITBS” refers to the Iowa Test of Basic Skills; “ERB” refers to the Educational Records Bureau’s assessment; “CAT/5” refers to the California Achievement Test; and “SAT” refers to the Stanford Anchievement Test.
