Pat and Carol Schuchard plan to transform the former Immaculate Conception rectory into a design-forward cocktail bar—the first phase of the Johnny Angel project.

Rowan “Lovey” Burns’ art lounge and cabaret hosts a wide range of events, including trivia, movies, open mic nights, crochet classes, and more.

Specializing in farm-to-table fare, the café and store will also help St. Louisans who’ve had trouble finding work.

Last year, three plots produced a bounty of fruits, vegetables…and 600 pounds of basil.
