Lynn Venhaus has had a continuous byline in St. Louis metro region publications since 1978, working at daily newspapers and in community news, including as a news and feature writer and food editor at the St. Louis Globe-Democrat. She contributes news, features, and entertainment coverage to other outlets. A Rotten Tomatoes-approved film critic, she’s on KTRS radio every Friday, writes about film and theater at poplifestl.com, film and TV for Alliance of Women Film Journalists, and co-hosts PopLifeSTL Presents podcast. She is retired from teaching journalism/media as an adjunct college instructor. She lives in the city of St. Louis.
Known for the series ‘Food is Love,’ the master chef plans to reopen his acclaimed restaurant after closing the flagship in De Soto, Illinois, in 2023.
Among the planned projects are the Love Thy Neighbor free food truck program, the Food on the Move free mobile pantry, and a Produce Blessing Box initiative.
