Calling all college students: St. Louis Magazine is now accepting applications for a summer marketing internship. This role offers broad exposure to marketing operations in a fast-paced, award-winning, local media company. Interns will work closely with the marketing team on a daily basis, contributing to multimedia initiatives, events, and data collection. Responsibilities may vary based on ongoing projects, with opportunity for interns to play key roles in various initiatives.
This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be based in St. Louis and available a minimum of 15–20 hours per week. This position is paid or eligible to receive college credit.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day marketing initiatives and projects
- Assist in the creation of video content, podcasts, games, and other multimedia endeavors
- Assist in planning, running, and advertising of St. Louis Magazine events
- Maintain social media and stay up-to-date on various trends and tactics
- Conduct research, organize information, and assist with data-related tasks
- Support customer success and outreach efforts
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Interest in local media
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a flexible environment
- Team player who can collaborate with various departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools
