In the inaugural episode of House of Lou, St. Louis Magazine Design editor-and-chief Veronica Theodoro talks to interior designer Annie Brahler of Euro Trash. Annie is known for her longstanding commitment to historic preservation, as well as for creating spaces—from the kitchen to the living room—that are layered with vintage and antique wares. No detail is too small for the designer, and it shows in her award-winning work across the country.

Annie’s Webster Groves home was recently featured in the September 2023 issue of St. Louis Magazine, and we got an inside look at her studio space, also in Webster Groves, a few years ago.

Listen in as Annie and Veronica share design ideas for the home, including tips for buying vintage and antiques in St. Louis (or, in some cases, “borrowing” them from loved ones). Veronica also recommends a new exhibition at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation that will both enlighten and inspire you. There’s so much to see in St. Louis, if you know where to look.
