The Top Under-the-Radar Spots in St. Louis

It’s illegal to trespass on private property, but that doesn’t stop many from exploring these spots. (Don’t worry, we’ve included some completely legal, public places, too.)

You don’t have to go far to unearth unexpected treasures in St. Louis—there are many tucked-away coves, abandoned buildings, and oft-overlooked sites. For example, a grassroots team of skateboarders, engineers, and City Museum fabricators is currently transforming a 126-year-old abandoned cathedral into a skate park and event venue called Sk8 Liborius. (The space is not currently open to the public, but that may change in the near future.) See map below to learn about other urban exploring spots.
