The shop, CITY Goods, unlocked its doors for shoppers on Tuesday afternoon, offering a selection of team-branded merchandise like shirts, hats, scarves, and more. Located on the corner of Market and 21st—and just a short kick away from the stadium’s pitch—the shop is open from noon–6 p.m. on Monday–Friday, and noon–5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday while the team’s full-scale store, CITY Pavilion, remains under construction.

As construction crews continued applying some of the finishing touches to Centene Stadium on Tuesday afternoon, a steady stream of shoppers made their way up the stadium’s stairs and into the new shop. In what should be heartening news for supporters, apparel makers didn’t merely supply merchandise in standard shades of red, blue, yellow and gray. CITY’s advertised colors of City Red, River Blue, Energy Yellow, and Arch Steel Gray pop off the shelves at CITY Goods.

The team is also fulfilling orders on a new, specially-designed adidas shoe in CITY’s colors. The limited edition shoes are only available for purchase through the team’s STL CITY app.

Although CITY SC won’t play its first Major League Soccer game until next spring, the club’s development squad, CITY 2, will host the first official match at Centene Stadium on September 18 when it faces Sporting KC II in the final regular season contest of the MLS NEXT Pro schedule. However, only a lucky few will be able to gain entry to the contest, which is an exclusive event for season ticket holders.

In the meantime, anyone can walk up to the stadium and grab gear in anticipation of next season’s inaugural MLS campaign.
