A St. Louis woman who police say waved a gun around, threatening to call Immigrations and Custom Enforcement on her neighbor, wound up herself getting arrested over the weekend.
Police say that on Saturday, 47-year-old Lisa Lee yelled racial slurs at her neighbor in Bevo Mill, flourishing a gun and threatening to shoot them. She racked her firearm and” threatened to call ICE,” according to a probable cause statement by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

Lee faces three felonies, for unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest, and attempted escape from confinement. She also faces a misdemeanor assault charge. A police spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Police were called to Adkins Avenue, where Lee had caused the hullabaloo. When officers arrived, they went to Lee’s home and found her wearing the same clothes as the description of the woman neighbors had seen waving the gun. A firearm was in plain view on her coffee table.
Lee resisted having handcuffs put on her. “You are taking the Mexican’s side?” she allegedly asked the officers, who noted that no had mentioned anything about the victim or their ethnicity.
The probable cause statement goes on to say that Lee attempted to flee police at the City Justice Center, running through the set of double secure doors at the facility, often referred to as a “sally port.” She made it through one set of doors but her escape attempt was thwarted before she could exit the second set.
Lee will make her initial appearance in court Monday at 1 p.m.
