On September 10, 2026, families gathered at the St. Louis County Library’s Meramec Valley Branch for St. Louis Magazine’s Kids Book Club, presented by PNC and The Clark Family and hosted by St. Louis County Library. The monthly series brings families together to share stories, spark curiosity, and foster a lifelong love of reading.
This month’s featured book, The Future Book by Mac Barnett, is a silly and out of this world fun story about life in the future. Following a librarian-led storytime, families sang songs, built their own futuristic creatures, and connected with other young readers and their families. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the library’s programs, resources, and services available to the community.
