On February 27, 2026, St. Louis Magazine hosted a Family Playdate at Fennel Cooking Studio, where families gathered for a sweet and creative afternoon together. Kids rolled up their sleeves and had the chance to decorate their own cookies with colorful icing and plenty of sprinkles, letting their imaginations (and sweet tooths!) run wild.

The hands-on activity gave children the opportunity to express their creativity while parents and caregivers connected with one another. It was a joy to see new friendships form as families mixed, mingled, and shared in the fun. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere made for a truly special experience that everyone could enjoy.
