Why Do You Race?

Why do you race?  Do you race because one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime? Do you race because breast cancer has no boundaries—age, gender, socio-economic status, or geographic location? Or do you race for a loved one? The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure wants to transform how the world talks and treats this disease and help turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors. With your continual and fantastic support, together we can achieve a world without breast cancer.

This year marks year the 17th annual Komen St. Louis Race. More than 30,000 people will come together for one cause: to end breast cancer. The race helps raise funds for the local fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivors, and honors those who have lost their lives to the disease. Wear your pink and get ready to race for a cure on Saturday, June 13 in downtown St. Louis!
