Hickory Ridge Vineyard & WineryNestled in the hills of Shawnee National Forest, near Pomona, this family-owned operation makes its wines exclusively from grapes grown on its premises and is known for its dry wines, as well as award-winning whites and rosés.

Kite Hill Vineyards: Located on a scenic hill 10 minutes from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale, Jim and Barbara Bush’s winery focuses on ripe fruit flavors from such locally grown grape varieties as Chambourcin, Chardonel, and Viognier.

The Pour Vineyard: Overlooking the vineyards and a lake, the covered pavilion, terrace, and tasting room are the perfect spots to sample the 19 wines, 15 beers, and compact food menu.
