Whiskey in the Winter tickets go on sale October 30 at 11 a.m.

Last year, tickets to the popular annual event were in carts within minutes and completely sold out within an hour.

Whiskey In The Winter, one of the most popular local events of the year—and quite possibly the quickest to sell out—will be held December 7 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.

Tickets go on sale October 30. Interested parties should click here at 11 a.m., refresh the page to see the ticket options, and follow the prompts to complete the purchase. (Limit six tickets per transaction/email address.)

  • Designated Driver ($50): Designated driver ticket holders may enter with their ticket-holding guest; DD ticket holders receive entrance into the event with access to food.

The event ends at 10:15 p.m.

As at prior events, guests will be able to sample unlimited tastings of hundreds of whiskeys (including single malt and blended Scotch, Bourbon, Irish, Tennessee, Canadian, and Japanese), attend seminars, experience whiskey cocktails, and indulge in food (and whiskey-inspired desserts) from around the world.

Featured whiskeys may be purchased at the event via Randall’s Wine & Spirits, the event’s retail partner.

The food stations will feature cuisine from the biggest whiskey-producing countries, including the U.S. (bourbon-inspired), Ireland (Irish whiskey-inspired), Japan (Japanese whiskey-inspired), and India (Indian whiskey-inspired). The whiskey cocktail bars are staffed by mixologists from more than a dozen of the city’s top craft cocktail venues. The list of event speakers and seminars is noted here

At the inaugural event, in 2012, 150 whiskeys were presented, and 700 people attended. By 2018, there were more than 400 whiskeys, and tickets sold out in four days. In 2019, 1,800 tickets sold out in 43 minutes. In 2022, tickets sold out “immediately…instantaneously,” according to event organizer Amit Dhawan. Last year, according to the event website, “every ticket was in a cart within minutes of the on-sale time.”

An event email says that once tickets are in your cart, you will have 10 minutes to finalize your purchase. If that time expires, the tickets in your cart will be released back into open inventory. “Last year, we were at a complete sell out in about an hour, so our advice is to keep refreshing your page, even if you should see all levels as sold out.”
