  • What: The first Friday of every month, Steve’s Hot Dogs’ Delmar Maker District location turns itself into a space for aspiring comedians at this lively open mic night. January 8: Chocolate Tasting Party

January 10 and 17: 3rd Annual Espresso Martini Shakoff

  • What: The 3rd Annual Espresso Martini Shakoff returns to St. Charles as local bartenders from Main Street and Frenchtown compete in a spirited showdown. Guests can sample espresso martinis, vote for their favorites, and enjoy live music while helping crown the next champion. Proceeds support beautification projects that keep this historic community looking its best.

January 14: Winter Charcuterie Board Class

January 18: Rome in St Louis – An Evening with Katie Parla

  • What: Katie Parla is much more than a cookbook author; she’s your expat friend in Italy who knows the inside scoop on the country’s culinary scene and hidden gems and is willing to share it. On the heels of her latest book, Rome: A Culinary History, Cookbook, and Field Guide to the Flavors that Built a City, Parla will be in town for a special collaborative dinner with chef Gerard Craft at his Clayton homage to Italy, Pastaria Deli & Wine.
