St. Louis restaurant openings, closings, and coming soons: August 2017

The following list is accurate as of a late August press date. A condensed version will be published in SLM‘s October 2017 issue.

Editor’s note: August is one of the slowest months of the restaurant year and is reflected in the paucity of this month’s openings, the biggest one being the second location of Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria. Sneaking in under the radar is Taco Buddha in U City, which along with Cursed Bikes & Coffee seems to have broken the longstanding restaurant curse at the northwest corner of Jackson and Pershing. Of note is that well over 20 restaurants are slated to open in September. If that happens, it would set a new record. Stay tuned.
