Farmhaus' $10 fish special includes mashed potatoes and pork braised collards (sub garlic green beans)
Although church fish fries have fallen by the wayside this year, restaurants are stepping up to serve St. Louisans observing Lent or otherwise enjoying the age-old tradition of having fish for dinner on Fridays. The following restaurants are all offering a way to get your Friday fish fix. (For information on how to order, call ahead or see websites and social media accounts for updates.)
58 Hundred: The South City restaurant's been offering several options, including fried cod, grilled salmon, and grilled shrimp tacos. All meals include coleslaw and a side (mac n cheese, french fries, broccoli, or side salad). Pickup is available from 4–8 p.m. Orders can be texted in at 314-605-4428 before 4 p.m. Friday, or call 314-279-5799 to order during pickup hours.
Biggie’s: Fish options include sole Parmesan and a fried cod sandwich; any fish item on the regular menu is also available. However, the restaurant recommends calling ahead to confirm as availability of supplies changes from day to day.

The $45 family meal for four includes tempura-fried Atlantic cod, French fries, and coleslaw. The restaurant is also offering half-price bottles of wine. Farmhaus: Like many other restaurants that are switching up themes every night for their pickup menu, Farmhaus is cooking up a Friday fish special. For $10, you can get fried fish, pork braised collard greens, and mashed potatoes. Garlic green beans can also be subbed in for the collards.
