If you want toexperience Super Bowl food that goes beyond Ro*Tel dip and nachos, and benefit a great cause, 801 Chophouse at the Crescent has the solution for you.
Normally a go-to location for special occasions, the restaurant will host an “extravaganza” beginning at 4:30 p.m on Super Bowl Sunday, February. A special menu (below) has been created for the event. Some items will be passed, others served buffet-style, with a promise of “some additional surprise items” as well.

A $50 ticket includes the above plus two drink tickets–good for select beer, wine, and Super Bowl-themed martinis–says general manager Ian Rockwell.
In addition to food and drink, there will also be Super Bowl-themed raffles and games with prizes like gift cards to 801 Chophouse (and 801 Fish, coming this summer to Carondelet Plaza).
In addition to the Chophouse’s seven TVs, the restaurant will bring in two additional 60″ screens, plus project a 9 X 7 foot video image on a side wall. Kick-off for Super Bowl XLIX is at 5:30 p.m.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Mercy Kids, a benefactor of Mercy Health Foundation St. Louis. The restaurant has hosted prior charitable events with the Foundation.
“801 Chophouse is a destination-style restaurant where you come here to celebrate or commemorate,” Rockwell said. “The Super Bowl is a big event as well. We like doing things that are a little different, plus this is for a great cause which is the best part.”
