City Foundry’s curated market of more than 100 local vendors gets started this Saturday, November 26, and runs each Saturday from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. through December 17.
Das Bevo’s market runs all weekend: 4–8 p.m. Friday, noon–5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Sunday. After you’ve perused the offerings from 25 local vendors, sip on something from Urban Chestnut’s tap takeover in the bierhall.
Small Business Saturday Tree Lighting at Ritz Park
South Grand is a bustling destination for shopping small (and eating big!). On Saturday from 4:30–6 p.m. at Ritz Park, cap off a day of shopping with free hot cocoa, DIY s’mores, caroling, a light show, and tree lighting.
St. Charles Christmas Traditions
Enjoy a quaint, old-fashioned take on the holidays, including chestnuts roasted on an open fire, Victorian carolers, and Santas from around the world. While you’re there, stop into one of the city’s many boutiques to find the prefect gift. Beginning November 25, the festival happens 6–8:30 p.m. Fridays, noon–8:30 p.m. Saturdays, and noon–5 p.m. Sundays, with special Christmas Eve hours from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
The London Tea Merchant Christmas Market
The “homesick Brits” of the London Tea Market are re-creating a great British tradition: the Christmas market. On Saturday from 11 a.m.–4 p.m., visit a dozen or so merchants upstairs in the Mayfair Room of the new downtown digs.
Winter Market: Small Biz Saturday
The Thomas Dunn Learning Center—a nonprofit offering education, art, and life skills—is hosting its annual market on Saturday from noon–4 p.m. It offers artwork, natural beauty products, jewelry, candles, and more. The Southside Youth Council will be on hand to wrap up your treasures.
