The “fresh, handmade” cosmetics company Lush reopened its Saint Louis Galleria outpost Friday, March 24.
The new space, located directly below the original next to the Cheesecake Factory, is nearly three times bigger and allows for more personal consultations and demonstrations. The concept shop takes inspiration from Lush’s 10,000-square-foot flagship store on Oxford Street in London. In the middle of the new store, customers will see 10 consultation stations that will allow them to interact with products and discuss them with staff.

“For 10 years, Lush Saint Louis Galleria has been a favorite amongst our Lush fans,” says Lush director of brand communications Brandi Halls. “Through social media, emails, and in-person conversations, our St. Louis ‘Lushies’ expressed the need for a larger shop, with more room to play with products [and] receive skin care consultations.”
Along with the 10 consultation stations, customers can expect a deli-style soap counter where handmade soaps can be cut to any size, shape, or weight; and a trough-style concrete sink for bath product demonstrations. “This gives guests the opportunity to see, smell, and feel a certain bath bomb or bubble bar in action before purchasing,” says Halls.
Bath bombs have become a favorite among St. Louis customers at Lush, which has 250 locations across North America.
“The St. Louis market is very special to Lush and has been for 10 years,” says Halls. “The market is very engaging, both in shop and on social media—and absolutely loves their bath bombs.”
