Garagiola and Berra lived across the street from each other on Elizabeth Avenue, near where they played basketball on an empty lot.

5227 Washington. Actor Vincent Price lived in this Central West End home in childhood until he was 12 years old, when his family moved to Forsyth across from Washington University.

6320 Forsyth. The Price family moved here in 1923. Price’s father was an executive with the National Candy Company of St. Louis. Even before making it in Hollywood, Price had a charmed life, attending Country Day School (where he had his first role) and Yale University.
