Traditional Style and Modern Conveniences Make This Frontenac House a Home

The $1.8 million home features spacious closets, an upper-level bonus room, and space for a wine cellar off the butler’s pantry.

Architect Lauren Strutman, president of Chesterfield-based Lauren Strutman Architects, collaborated with builders and planners to design a house, atop a scenic 1-acre lot at 3017 Fallbrook in Frontenac, that features the coveted mix of traditional elements and modern amenities.

The one-and-a-half-story home emphasizes open spaces on the main level, such extras as an optional coffee bar in the master suite, and energy-efficient systems.

“We also included the classic elements we think will appeal to a lot of buyers,” Strutman says, noting the two staircases, one that leads from the kitchen to the second floor and the other from the great room to the second floor. Current homeowner favorites—including spacious closets, an upper-level bonus room, and space for a wine cellar off the butler’s pantry—are all to be found inside this home.
