Before anyone starts decorating their own space, I always suggest they make an inspiration file of images that make them happy and that that they feel best reflects their own style. Inspiration folders are especially important for those people that are unsure of what decor they gravitate to. Too often people buy only what they see in a store without feeling a strong attraction to it.
Pinterest is a website that allows users to save all of their inspiring images in one spot. On this website you can create boards to better organize all of your finds. For example, some of my boards are labeled: color scheme love, living room love, and wallpaper love.
As I find inspiring images all across the internet I can "pin" them to any of my boards and share them with the rest of Pinterest! You also have the option to search the entire website for any image you desire! I find daily inspiration via Pinterest and think it is a wonderful first destination for anyone wanting to start gathering their thoughts! Here is just a peak of the numerous images that reside in my boards:
One precautionary statement though, it is very addicting. I hope you'll find me {Joidan82} once you venture on over to Pinterest. Happy pinning!
