Brothers Lazaroff Hanukkah Hullabaloo | December 13

For 15 years running, the Brothers Lazaroff have thrown this seasonal must. In addition to the Brothers themselves, musical guests include the Hullabaloo Klezmer All-Stars, Anita Jackson, Blvck Spvde, and DJ Boogieman. The Latke Ladies sizzle up the finest of the potato permutations, with other food and drink available for purchase. Tickets start at $14.50. Doors at 6:30 p.m. The Grandel Theatre and The Dark Room.

Missouri Botanical Garden Festival of Lights | December 14

During the first night of the Festival of Lights, shop art and jewelry, and listen to music by Shakshuka, Kolot with the St. Louis Jewish Women’s Choir and Shir Emeth Youth Choir, and Rhythm ‘n’ Ruach with Shelley Dean from noon–4 p.m. Lighting the first candle takes place at 3:45 p.m. Included with Garden admission. Missouri Botanical Garden, Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center.

Menorah Car Parade & Lighting | December 14

Cars decorated with menorahs promenade through Chesterfield led by firetrucks, police, and a motorcycle brigade. (If you register ahead of time, your car can be a float—the first 25 to register will have menorahs on their cars.) Parade lines up at 4:30 pm. and departs at 5 p.m. Chabad of Chesterfield.

Chanukah @ the Arch | December 14–21

Every night of the festival, Chabad of Greater St. Louis lights the Staenberg Menorah at Kiener Plaza downtown, with an audio-visual show to follow. The first night includes festivities and a ceremony. Tickets are free and recommended for the first night. Check out nearby Winterfest while you’re there. See website for lighting times. Chanukah at the Police Station | December 17

Sponsored by the Chabad Jewish Center of St. Charles and The Gan St. Charles Preschool, the O’Fallon Police Department’s event features a menorah lighting, photos with officers, holiday treats, and a meet-and-greet with four legged officers. 5–5:45 p.m. O’Fallon Justice Center, 1019 Bryan, O’Fallon, Missouri.

Chanukah on Main Street | December 21

Close out the Festival of Lights in St. Charles with Chanukah on Main Street, hosted by The Chabad Jewish Center of St. Charles. It’s a full-on party featuring music and latkes, plus a menorah lighting, gelt drop, and a visit from Dreidel Man. The family-friendly soirée starts at 5 p.m. Free. Berthold Square Park, St. Charles.
