Union Station is a happenin’ spot for dads! The 200-foot-tall St. Louis Wheel will host free rides for dads on Sunday, with free “Wheely Cool Dad” T-shirts while supplies last. Side Project Brewing starts the Father’s Day celebration early, on Saturday, with Dads & Dogs. There will be hot dogs for eating and cool dogs for adopting from Unleashed Potential Animal Rescue. There will also be high-end cars to ogle and spirits to sample, as well as a raffle benefitting the City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund. 1–3 p.m. Free admission. Enjoy a day of fun with Dad at City Museum: On Father’s Day, there’s free admission for every dad, granddad, or great-granddad. (I bet if you brought your great-great-granddad they’d let him in, too.) The kids’ art activity at Art City is dad-themed, and the Cabin Inn and Beatnik Bob’s serve City Museum Pilsner and the new City Museum Hard Seltzer from 4 Hands Brewing. Juneteenth and Father’s Day Kickball Tournament
In Dutchtown, it’s an annual tradition to gather in Marquette Park for kickball and a community festival for Juneteenth and Father’s Day. Kickball teams compete for glory, and everyone’s welcome to cheer them on. 11 a.m. Marquette Park., 4000 S. Compton

Kimmswick hosts a memorable car show every Father’s Day. It’s open to any car, truck, or motorcycle—as long as it’s among the first 200 to show up starting at 9 a.m. Local merchants in the charming town will hand out awards at 3 p.m. A DJ and other activities keep the day festive. Proceeds of the $15 registration fee go to the Kimmswick Visitor Center. Downtown Kimmswick.
Father’s Day Horseless Carriage Car Show
If the dad in your life is a fan of the very earliest cars, then head for the National Museum of Transportation, which will showcase early Fords and other “horseless carriage” cars.
