You might recognize him from Hope Floats. But he's a multiple Grammy and Emmy award winner with a couple of Tony nominations who carries his hometown of New Orleans into his work as a pianist and a vocalist. He has performed on multiple stages, including the should-be-mentioned Broadway. This exhibit brings together more than 50 photographs taken using panoramic photography in the first half of the 20th century. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer | December 22 & 23
The stop-motion animated version is certainly a hallmark of the season and currently the center of controversy, but St. Louis is getting a live-action take. It's the same story you grew up watching with the same beloved characters such as Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius—but this time there is a lot more singing. $29–$82. Not to be confused with the classic film, this "Christmas Extravaganza" features the Pete Ayres Band, Lola, and local R&B group Fresh Heir.
