For it’s 106th season, The Muny is bringing together a collection of recent hits and Broadway classics. After teasing eagle-eyed audience members with Pantone color clues over the past week, the celebrated outdoor theater released its full lineup for the 2024 season, which runs from June 17 through August 24.
“Following our epic and powerful 105th season, Muny 106 promises to be equally big, bold and exciting,” said Muny artistic director and executive producer Mike Isaacson in a release announcing the upcoming season. “It offers something for everyone, with a glorious selection of new and classics, as well as stories that will move and entertain.”

Season ticket renewals begin in November and new subscriptions will go on sale in March 2024. Single show tickets will go on sale in May. The full lineup of shows and dates includes the following:
Les Misérables: June 17–23
Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, Les Misérables is timeless tale lauded as the world’s most popular musical. A soaring score and imaginative staging make for an epic performance that draws crowds again and again.
Dreamgirls: June 27–July 3
If you’ve only ever seen the Oscar-nominated film starring Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson, now is the time to revisit this pop-fueled hit that follows the highs and lows of a girl group from Chicago as they try to make their way to the top. The Broadway smash includes iconic songs such as “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” and “One Night Only.”
Disney’s The Little Mermaid: July 8–16
Take a trip to that vibrant world “Under the Sea” with this family-friendly show from Disney hitmakers Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. Little ones who loved Ariel on the big screen this past summer will be thrilled to see her story unfold on the Muny stage.
Fiddler on the Roof : July 19–25
Tevye and his family are making their way back to the Muny for the 11th time this season. This perennial favorite tells the story of the Jewish milkman and his family as they navigate a changing world and their own fraying ties that bind.
Waitress: July 30 – August 5
Muny audiences will get an early taste of this Broadway and London hit this summer when the theater plays host to Waitress’ regional theater premiere. The story of a waitress and baker with big dreams features music and lyrics by Grammy-winning artist Sara Bareilles.
In the Heights: August 9–15
If you missed this celebration of community and family from the prolific Lin-Manuel Miranda during its run at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center last year, fear not. You have another chance to catch up with Usnavi and his neighbors when In the Heights hits the Muny stage this summer.
Anything Goes: August 19–25
The Muny is closing out 2024 with a classic. Cole Porter’s Anything Goes is making its return to the theater after 25 years to thrill audiences will a romp full of Great American Songbook staples and tap-dancing fun.
