If there were one beauty regime I have spent the better part of a decade researching, it would have to be sunless-tanning products. From Tan Towels to Clarins, my porcelain white skin has been subject to a bevy of smelly, streak-inducing, orange concoctions. So when I heard about the Jergens Natural Glow Revitalizing sunless tanning lotion, you could only imagine my skepticism. I used their clear lotion/tanning lotion combo product while in high school. It was okay, but when it came to the smell, my sensitive nose was not happy. A beautiful, glowing tan in three days? Yeah, okay. This new Jergens tanning lotion claims to be odorless, again, another point for my sunless tanning cynicism. But after talking to fellow fair-skinned friends and being quite surprised (impressed) by their streak-free results, I decided a $9 test run couldn’t be that bad.
After applying the fair to medium tone Jergens Natural Glow lotion on my skin, I could see results with a few short hours. Constantly checking for streaks, I was more than thrilled when I could not only find streaks, but also my skin actually looked like a natural shade of medium beige. There is no smell; I couldn’t be happier to have been proven wrong. I used it once a day for three days to get my desired tan. I recommend using the product on average of one to two times a week once you have your initial desired results, unless you’re going for a Snooki-inspired glow. This may be the end of my tanning-lotion journey. I cannot recommend this product enough. Be sure to check out the other product in Jergens’ Glow line. You can’t go wrong with a sunless tanning lotion that not only leaves your skin glowing, but also protected from harsh sunrays.
