Join St. Louis Magazine on February 27 at Fennel Cooking Studio for a fun cookie decorating session! During an hour-long session, kids will decorate two cookies of their own, making for a hands-on and delicious afternoon of creativity.

Why Emily Adams, our Family Editor, chose this location: From sneaking tastes to wielding a whisk, kids love being part of the kitchen action. With its beloved culinary classes, Fennel Cooking Studio invites families to get messy, make memories, and cook up something beautiful—and delicious—together. There’s no better spot to whip up something that’s as fun to create as it is to eat.

Sessions: There will be two sessions to choose from: 12–1 p.m. and 1–2 p.m. Purchase tickets to the session of your choice. Each session will be limited to 20 children.

St. Louis Magazine‘s Family Playdate at The Magic House will be open exclusively to SLM’s guests, giving families the opportunity to explore, play, and learn together without the crowds. This event is SOLD OUT!

Giving Back: As with all of our Family Playdates, this event supports a local nonprofit. In January, we’re proud to partner with The Little Bit Foundation to collect coats, hats, scarves, and gloves for children in the St. Louis area during the winter months.

St. Louis Magazine‘s Family Playdates bring parents and caregivers across the St. Louis metro area together for kid-friendly fun—they also take you to the most exciting new or beloved family attractions STL has to offer every month. Each playdate will vary in recommended age group and geographical location, but our goal is that all will be inclusive and stress-free.
