The Waldorf School of St. Louis offers a vibrant, whole-child education where curiosity, creativity, and compassion are at the heart of every classroom. From our nurturing early childhood programs through our grade school, students thrive in an environment that blends intellectual growth with artistic expression, hands-on exploration, and a strong sense of community.
As the region’s only independent Waldorf school, we provide an education that is both timeless and forward-thinking. Our curriculum weaves music, movement, storytelling, world languages, gardening, woodworking, and the arts into core academics, giving students a well-rounded foundation that engages their minds, inspires their imaginations, and strengthens their will. This approach cultivates not only capable readers, writers, and mathematicians but also creative thinkers, empathetic problem-solvers, and confident learners prepared to meet the world with purpose.
With small class sizes and teachers who honor each stage of childhood, every student is seen, supported, and celebrated. Families are drawn to our commitment to outdoor play, experiential learning, and meaningful traditions that foster belonging and rhythm. As part of a global Waldorf community of over 1,000 schools, our St. Louis campus offers a one-of-a-kind education that nurtures the head, the heart, and the hands.
