South City Community School

South City Community School (SCCS) is an intentionally accessible Christian school located in south St. Louis, across from Tower Grove Park. Inspired by the Charlotte Mason philosophy, SCCS offers students a rich “feast of ideas” to cultivate a love of learning. Emphasizing character formation, joyful discovery, and meaningful relationships, the school creates a vibrant educational experience. Through literature, nature, the arts, and hands-on learning, students grow both academically and personally. With class sizes capped at 16, each child receives individual attention and encouragement. SCCS serves a diverse community and remains dedicated to making high-quality Christian education available to families across the city.
