Dr. Lisa McDonald and Associates believe in complete health dentistry and focus on elimination of inflammation and dental disease in order to help patients achieve optimal oral health and overall health. Research continues to show that underlying inflammation is the cause of many chronic diseases. Focusing on removing the sources of inflammation—including dental cavities, gum disease, dental infections, and sleep-disordered breathing issues—helps patients live their healthiest lives.
The doctors and team strive to stay up-to-date on the latest practices and technology. They offer a wide range of treatments including routine cleanings, periodontal cleanings, cosmetic dentistry, tooth-colored fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, dental implants, clear aligner therapy, tooth whitening, and fabrication of oral appliances to treat sleep apnea, which can be a great alternative to a CPAP machine.
The group prides itself on utilizing the latest “green” 3D X-rays, 3D scanners, and high-quality materials and laboratories. By using the latest and most accurate technology, optimal care and quality can easily be delivered.
The team provides service in a compassionate manner. Drs. McDonald and Megalla; dental hygienists Katie, Jaka, and Caroline; dental assistants Kathya, Kaitlynn, and Christine; and Erin and Candace of the business team strive to make each patient’s visit comfortable and relaxing. Patients are offered a warm neck pillow and are treated as VIPs.
Giving back is another important value for the team. They celebrated the sixth year of the “Pay it Forward” scholarship with University City High School by awarding $1,000 to a graduating senior. They are looking forward to continuing to give back for many years to come.
