That philosophy continues to drive Arbor Fertility™, an independent, physician-owned practice founded by double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist Shvetha Zarek, MD. Since opening in 2023, Arbor Fertility™ has rapidly expanded across Missouri and Illinois, while introducing programs designed to improve affordability, access, success, and patient experience.

Arbor Fertility™ launched its own in-house fertility medication program, helping patients navigate one of the most significant barriers to treatment: medication cost. The practice also earned the REI Protect Seal of Approval, recognizing excellence in reproductive endocrinology and IVF laboratory safety, and became a member of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), reflecting a commitment to transparency, quality standards, and clinical excellence.

The team continues to expand access to fertility care through innovative offerings including INVOcell®, a lower-cost IVF alternative, and a needle-free IVF treatment option for patients seeking a less invasive fertility journey. The practice expanded with a new O’Fallon, Illinois, location and the addition of women’s health nurse practitioner Courtney Morton. Arbor Fertility™ is also proud to partner with Becky Kubala, RN, owner of P.A.R.I.N.T.S., leveraging her 30-plus years of nursing experience to provide additional support and resources for patients.

Beyond the clinic walls, Dr. Zarek remains active in shaping the future of reproductive medicine. She is a board member of both the Alliance of Independent Physicians of St. Louis (AIPS) and the founder of Alliance of Independent Reproductive Endocrinologists (AIRE), collaborating with leaders across health care to advance innovation, education, and patient care. Dr. Zarek was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as a 2025 Most Influential Business Woman, making her the only physician leader to be recognized within a tremendous cohort.
