Small Room Sessions 06 | 07 and a FREE Community Workshop
This weekend, Dissonant Works welcomes Heart Trio for a two-day residency featuring William Parker, Hamid Drake, and Cooper-Moore.
For more than three decades, these artists have cultivated a shared musical language through collaboration and improvisation. Each performance is collectively composed in the moment, offering a remarkable opportunity to share a small room with musicians whose decades of collaboration have left a lasting mark on creative improvised music.
William Parker — doson ngoni, shakuhachi, bass dudek, Serbian flute, ney flute
Hamid Drake — frame drum, drum kit
Cooper-Moore — hand-built ashimba, hoe-handle harp
