If a traditional spring roll were to hook up with a pan-Asian smorgasbord, its offspring would be our favorite item at one of our favorite new restaurants, Lona’s LiL Eats in Fox Park. Choose a wrapper (rice paper, tortilla, or none at all), a protein (or several), a staple (noodles, rice, or greens), and one of Lona Luo’s five homemade sauces, perked up by spices sourced from around the world. Rest assured, any combination seems to work. Considering that the dish is about $10 and comes with a side, we aren’t the only ones muttering, “We could eat this every day.” lonaslileats.com.
