Karen’s Diner coming to St. Louis in September

The pop-up concept pairs “great burgers and very rude service.”

A traveling pop-up diner is coming to St. Louis, serving up burgers and fries with a side of sass.

Karen’s Diner demands that customers “sit down and shut up” at the immersive pop-up shop, happening at an undisclosed location on Gravois Avenue this September. One of just 10 scheduled stops in the United States, the dining concept is billed as serving “great burgers and very rude service.”

The atmosphere will be reminiscent of the 1950s, with plenty of bright pinks, purples, and blues. Expect turbulent service from waiters dressed in vintage outfits, as well as guest appearances from the manager, billed as “the most Karen Karen ever.” (Read more about the term ‘Karen’ here.)
