The Hi-Pointe Drive-In‘s store count just got a little higher. Starting this Sunday, October 23, spinoff concept A Little Hi will officially open its doors at 15069 Manchester in Ballwin, the former home of a P’sghetti’s and Silky’s Frozen Custard, before that.

“We’re excited to bring the Hi-Pointe Drive-in energy to Ballwin,” co-owner Ben Hillman said in a press release. “This will be a great opportunity for us to show off what made Hi-Pointe special in the first place.”

The new store will feature an abbreviated version of the Hi-Pointe Drive-In menu. It will include such items as smash burgers, Frisco melts, fries, behemoth milkshakes, and a rotating menu of chef-inspired, over-the-top burger specials, such as the Pig Mac and The Fat and The Furious (a double cheeseburger topped with a wagyu hotdog, fried mac and cheese, and special burger sauce).

“A Little Hi allows the operations team to streamline the service model to run as efficiently as possible while delivering the group’s best-in-class hospitality,” Hillman said.

The building will be the smallest of the Hi-Pointe concepts at 2,000 square feet, making it less than half the size of the Kirkwood location. It will still be steeped in the same colorful style associated with the brand. The new store is located on the Manchester strip and will include a drive-thru window for pickup orders.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from opening day will be donated to the Little Bit Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on helping children in underprivileged school districts. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.

Hillman says the restaurant group also plans to build more locations for both Hi-Pointe concepts. Asked how many total units the company has in mind, he quips, “We’re gunning for Shake Shack.”
