Free 4 All STL announces full schedule of 100 artists for first showcase

Free 4 All STL will take over Grand Center on September 6 and 7.

With the big date for St. Louis’ inaugural Free 4 All STL music showcase just over two weeks away, we are fast approaching a time when many tough decisions will have to be made.

As a slate of 100 St. Louis artists of every conceivable genre and flavor prepare to descend upon Grand Center on September 6 and 7 across nine separate stages for two full days of killer music, only those capable of bi- or even tri-location stand even the slightest chance of catching every act. Those folks can stop reading here—though if they’d please stick around after class to share some tips on just how they are able to pull off such a feat, that’d be most appreciated.

For the rest of you mere mortals, SLM has got you covered. Below, for the first time all in one place, you’ll see the full list of acts performing at Free 4 All STL’s first foray, as well as a complete schedule of where they will be doing so and when. Those who recall the old days of the RFT Music Festival will remember this part of the process fondly: picking which acts are must-sees, plotting out your weekend’s worth of entertainment down to the minute, racing back and forth between venues so as not to miss a thing, and then inevitably doing so anyway when some unexpected act catches your ear and blows you away, throwing a wrench into your carefully laid plans in the best possible fashion.

And just as a reminder, Free 4 All STL goes down just one week before the 5th annual MATI Festival and Conference (September 12-14). The Kranzberg Arts Foundation, which presents MATI, is sponsoring Free 4 All STL by providing venues and offering networking opportunities for its artists. And although Free 4 All STL remains distinct from MATI, attendees of the latter will be bumping shoulders with folks from the former all that weekend as well, as performers at the Free 4 All STL showcase will receive free MATI weekend passes, along with access to its artists’ lounge and conference—so if you dig the vibes at Free 4 All STL you’ll find a lot more of the same at MATI,for which you can purchase passes here.

With no further preamble, we present you with the full list of performers at the first ever Free 4 All STL music showcase. Please note that Free 4 All has detailed info and music clips for every single artist on its Instagram page, which should go a long way in assisting you in your efforts to plan the perfect weekend of St. Louis music. Now get your scheduling hat on and get to work.
