A St. Louis native, Madeline Yochum graduated from Washington University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Before joining SLM as an editorial assistant, Madeline interned at KSDK and the Missouri Botanical Garden. She developed a passion for journalism in Madagascar, where she documented her experiences serving in a rural community. Madeline resides in downtown St. Louis, near her favorite hideaway: Central Library.
