Jarrett Medlin

Jarrett Medlin is editor-in-chief of St. Louis Magazine. Prior to becoming editor-in-chief in summer 2010, he served as SLM's executive editor, as well as its senior editor. Medlin also has held positions as editor-in-chief of Wichita magazine, contributing writer for 417 Magazine, and field editor at Rural Missouri magazineHe holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri in Columbia. During his time with St. Louis Magazine, the publication has won 14 awards from the City and Regional Magazine Association, four awards from the Great Plains Journalism Awards, and 17 awards from the Missouri Association of Publications for excellence in journalism. A lifelong Missourian, Medlin resides in the Central West End with his wife, Jackie, and their lethargic cat, Sox.
