
SLM Media Group—publisher of St. Louis Magazine, Design STL, St. Louis Family, and Stlmag.com—is seeking a motivated, versatile account executive. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years sales experience; be adept at selling print and digital advertising, including programmatic, as well as event sponsorships; and have a firm understanding of the St. Louis market. Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Build client relationships and effectively manage accounts
- Create compelling proposals and presentations
- Prospect, forecast, and plan for future business
- Effectively present omnichannel offerings, including direct and programmatic digital sales, native content, social media solutions, online contests, newsletters, video, behavioral targeting, event sponsorships, and print advertising
- Monitor campaign performance via web analytics to maximize opportunities
- Collaborate with clients and ad ops to create effective native and programmatic campaigns
- Accurately document client information in CRM
- Attend company meetings, events, and trade shows
- Network, and promote a positive and consistent brand image
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- At least two years of sales experience
- A proven track record in developing new business and achieving sales goals
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions to decision makers
- Adept at selling digital offerings and providing clients with consultative acumen
- Passion for keeping up with the latest technological advances
- Outstanding listening, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Highly motivated to excel
