We’re not alone, St. Louis.
Thousands of Arsenal FC fans had a very special message for Stan Kroenke, the majority shareholder of the north London soccer team, over the weekend:
“Get out of our club, get out of our club, f*** off Stan Kroenke, get out of our club,” the fans chanted as Arsenal beat Everton 2-0.
Arsenal fans watched with interest when Kroenke pulled the Rams from St. Louis and moved to Los Angeles, where he’s building a new stadium in Inglewood, earlier this year. Now the team’s supporters are voicing complaints that may just sound familiar to St. Louis football fans, including a lack of investment in the club, a disappointing season, and high ticket prices.
