The St. Louis Blues advanced to the next round of playoffs after winning Game 7 against the Chicago Blackhawks Monday.
The St. Louis Blues beat defending Stanley Cup champions and rivals the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 Monday night, St. Louis’ second playoff series win since 2002.
As Blues players prepare to take on the Dallas Stars in round two of the playoffs, Blues fans are still celebrating an historic night.

Last night brought lots of reasons to celebrate. Not only did the Blues win, the game set a record.
And Colton Parayko’s performance unleashed a new wave of the latest Blues social media sensation, the #paraykovictorygif.
While it’s fun to watch the Blues make it so far in the playoffs, it’s just as fun to know St. Louis knocked out the defending champs. With the Los Angeles Kings out as well, the Stanley Cup is open to another team for the second time this decade.
And the Blues are determined to win the cup, especially after all the sports drama St. Louis has been through lately.
Suddenly, Blues spirit is everywhere, including Los Angeles...
...and even in Chicago.
And while the Blues-Blackhawks series is over, it’s nice to see the rivals can still get along.
But now it’s time to think about Dallas...
...and beyond.
